
The regulations of the Magnificon EXPO 2024
§1 General provisions

hese regulations pertain to the Japanese Culture and Pop Culture Festival – Magnificon Expo 2025, held from May 23 to May 25, 2025, hereinafter referred to as "the convention." They define the terms agreed upon between: MiOhi - registered in CEIDG under NIP number 6372027174, being the organizer of the convention, responsible for enforcing compliance with the Regulations, and Convention Participant, as defined in point 2 §1.

The convention participant is any person who:

has purchased an admission ticket to the convention under the terms specified in §2,
-
is an exhibitor under the terms specified in §3,
-
is a presenter of attractions,
-
is part of the event staff,
-
or has been invited by MiOhi.

Each person staying at the convention venue during its duration is obliged to comply with the provisions of these Regulations.
§2 Participation
1. Any person who is a Convention Participant as defined in point 2 §1, as well as organizers and security services, may stay on the convention premises.
2. Admission tickets to the convention can be purchased online or on site following prices from the table below:

The VIP ticket entitles access to the convention grounds from 9:00 AM on the first day of the convention until 6:00 PM on the last day of the convention, excluding the nighttime hours from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM.
The three-day Friday-Sunday ticket entitles access to the convention grounds from 9:15 AM on the first day of the convention until 6:00 PM on the last day of the convention, excluding the nighttime hours from 9:00 PM.
The Friday one-day ticket entitles access to the convention grounds from 9:15 AM to 9:00 PM on May 23, 2025.
The Saturday one-day ticket entitles access to the convention grounds from 9:15 AM to 9:00 PM on May 24, 2025.
The Sunday one-day ticket entitles access to the convention grounds from 9:15 AM to 6:00 PM on May 25, 2025.
Children under 10 years old – free entry.
3. The number of tickets of each type is limited.
4. Payment for the ticket as defined in point 2a) §2 should be made online or on-site, either in cash or by card. Payment on behalf of third parties is allowed.
5. Online presale of tickets runs from January 1, 2025, to May 22, 2025. MiOhi reserves the right to suspend or extend the presale, especially if the convention is canceled or if the entire ticket pool is sold out. Tickets can also be purchased on-site during the event.
6. Cancellation of a purchased ticket during presale and requesting a refund must be reported to MiOhi at least 7 days BEFORE the convention via email at zwroty@miohi.pl, providing the reservation details and personal information along with the bank account number for the refund.
7. MiOhi commits to refunding the ticket within 21 days of the end of the convention, minus organizational costs, which are:

0 PLN for cancellations of any ticket type if made more than seven days before the convention,

125/135/145 PLN for cancellations of the three-day Friday-Sunday ticket (249 PLN for VIP package) if made less than seven days before the convention,
-
79/90 PLN for cancellations of the Friday May 23, 2025, one-day ticket if made less than seven days before the convention,
-
99/110 PLN for cancellations of the Saturday May 24, 2025, one-day ticket if made less than seven days before the convention,
-
69/80 PLN for cancellations of the Sunday May 25, 2025, one-day ticket if made less than seven days before the convention. If the festival takes place as scheduled, there are no exceptions to this rule.
8. Every participant of the convention will receive a wristband from MiOhi, which must be worn visibly during the convention.
9. Sharing the wristband with third parties is prohibited.
10. Persons without a wristband or with visible signs of tampering with the wristband will be removed from the convention grounds.
11. If the wristband and/or identification is lost, it must be reported to the convention accreditation desk as soon as possible. It is possible to purchase a new wristband/ID at an individually determined price.
12. Any minor attending the convention without the supervision of an adult guardian must provide consent for participation in the convention to the accreditation desk. The consent form can be found on the website https://magnificonexpo.com/.
13. Persons with a certificate of moderate or significant disability who purchased a ticket for the event may receive a free ticket for their guardian. To collect the guardian's wristband, they must show a valid ticket and the disability certificate at the accreditation desk. The decision to use this option is voluntary and solely up to the participant.
§3 Exhibitors
1. An exhibitor becomes any person who rents a booth at the festival or is part of the crew of the rented booth.
2. The conditions for renting a booth are precisely defined in the Exhibitor Regulations available at https://magnificonexpo.com/
§4 Rights and obligations of the convention participant
1. Participants are required to behave in a culturally appropriate manner while on the convention grounds.
2. Participants must adhere to safety regulations and assist those in need. In the event of any danger to health, life, or property during the convention, participants are obliged to immediately notify the organizers or security.
3. Participants are required to follow the instructions of the organizers, coordinators, and security personnel.
4. It is forbidden to bring or use any dangerous items or substances on the convention grounds, including:

alcoholic beverages, intoxicants, or drugs,
-
any type of weapon, including training weapons (this does not apply to shows, LARPs, or cosplay competitions, but each such item must be reported to the Organizer),
-
flammable, toxic, or radioactive chemicals,
-
explosives and pyrotechnics,
-
personal defense tools such as pepper spray, electric stun guns, police batons, and telescopic batons.
5. Participants must maintain cleanliness and order on the convention grounds.
6. It is prohibited to damage any property. The person responsible for any damage will be held financially liable.
7. Smoking is strictly prohibited on the convention grounds, except in designated smoking areas.
8. Consuming alcohol or other intoxicants on the convention grounds is forbidden, as is being on the premises while under their influence.
9. It is forbidden to place advertisements, announcements, or any form of information (including posters) on the EXPO KRAKÓW premises. All advertising surfaces, including walls and doors, are the property of EXPO KRAKÓW, and charges will apply according to their price list.
§5 Rights and Obligations of MiOhi
1. MiOhi undertakes to provide convention participants with attractions specified in the event program available on the website https://magnificonexpo.com/ before the start of the convention.
2. MiOhi undertakes to update the program of attractions on the website as soon as possible after any changes are made.
3.MiOhi does not accept responsibility for parts of attractions that did not take place due to reasons beyond its control, particularly such as: the absence or unpreparedness of a speaker, or technical problems with equipment belonging to them.
4. MiOhi provides convention participants with protection and a First Aid Point during the convention.
5. MiOhi does not provide convention participants with health insurance. Participants may obtain insurance on their own.
6. MiOhi does not bear responsibility for any random events resulting in the loss of health or life.
7. MiOhi does not accept financial responsibility for items left unattended by participants.
8. MiOhi has the right to cancel the convention, change its date and/or location, without prior notice or explanation, due to reasons beyond its control, particularly including: national mourning, the introduction of pandemic restrictions, illness, incapacity, or any other objectively justifiable reasons preventing the organization of the convention. In such cases, ticket holders have rights as provided by law.
9. MiOhi reserves the right to refuse the sale of tickets and entry to the convention without giving a reason to any individual, particularly those endangering the safety of participants, individuals under the influence of alcohol or intoxicants, individuals threatening the reputation of the Organizers, Co-organizers, or Guests of the convention.
10. Security personnel, with the consent of MiOhi, have the right to inspect the belongings of convention participants to prevent or detect violations of the regulations.
11. MiOhi has the right to remove individuals from the convention premises for violating the regulations. Such individuals are not entitled to a refund of the ticket cost. In the case of minors, parents or legal guardians are notified.
§6 Final Provisions
1. MiOhi reserves the right to make changes to the Regulations without prior notification to participants. The current version of the Regulations, immediately following any changes, will be published on the convention's website at http://magnificonexpo.com.
2. Purchasing a ticket by the Participant is equivalent to accepting these Regulations.
3. In matters not covered by these Regulations, decisions are made by MiOhi, guided by the well-being of the Participants based on the Civil Code.
4. Failure to familiarize oneself with the Regulations does not exempt the Participant from compliance with them.
