INTERNATIONAL PREELIMINARIES
Gyeonggi International Cosplay Festival Championship
Criteria and performance format
The contest for duets with a final during the BICOF festival, which will take place from October 3rd to 6th in Bucheon (South Korea). In this contest, teams will compete by presenting a performance on stage lasting up to three minutes. Costumes must be made by the cosplayers and will also be judged. Participation of any persons other than elimination participants (including remote) is excluded.

The selected team from Poland will qualify for the international final.

Scoring in the contest is distributed as follows: costume assessment (compliance with the reference and execution) - 50%, performance assessment - 50%. Participants can earn an additional 10% for good audience interaction (eye contact, audience reaction to the performance, etc.). One reserve team will also be indicated. Coverage of travel costs to Korea and accommodation during the competition is part of the prize for the finalist.
Participants
The participant must be a Polish citizen or have the right to permanent residence in Poland and have lived in Poland for at least three years. They must also be at least 18 years old by October 2nd, 2024.
Costumes
Costumes must be made by the participating cosplayers. They must be based on official graphics from any comic/manga, computer/video game, or animated or live-action movie or series. Costumes based on fan art or personal designs will not be accepted for this contest.

Costumes already presented in other competitions are allowed for eliminations, provided that no more than a year has passed since the stage premiere, and they have not been used in the finals of international tournaments or won any elimination contests for those tournaments. Costumes that were presented in eliminations but did not win are allowed. Costumes exceeding the boundaries of good taste (offensive to specific individuals or groups, pornographic, etc.) will not be allowed in the contest.

To participate in the contest, you must register through the registration form linked at the bottom of the page. This must be done by May 5th, 2024, by 11:59 PM.
